I came back from school today to some very good news; and about celebrities I have not heard from for a while! >w< I would like to share these with you if you have not already heard! ^^

1) "It's Official!" Liu Shi Shi & Nicky Wu

YES, you read it right! Our Ruo Xi and Fourth Prince are officially dating! ^^* Good news for LongShi shippers and (probably) bad news for HongShi shippers...

Taiwanese singer and actor Wu QiLong (a.k.a Nicky Wu) has revealed his "hard-to-come-by" relationship with his co-actress for 3 shows running, Liu Shi Shi, today through a Weibo post.

This is apparently the response to being seen acting 'intimately' as well as paying long hour visits to each other's homes a few days before.

2) "It's Official!" Yang Mi & Harwick Lau are Married!

Actress Yang Mi has announced her marriage to her Hong Kong Actor boyfriend Harwick Lau today!

Yang Mi's weibo post included a picture of the love birds wearing their rings, and revealing that they had already registered their marriage. 

Harwick's response was very sweet, here is the translation (taken from ecns.cn):

 "I am finally getting a taste of the old saying 'We hold their hands -- We are to grow old together with them.' I only hope we can be together in the following days; if you are tired, I will carry you on my back and slow down our steps. Thank you for giving your hand to me. Thanks to your parents for trusting me! We chose to have our wedding on Jan 8, 2014, a special day on which we went public with our love two years ago."

I'm starting to feel that Yang Mi and Shi Shi had planned this, haha, or maybe revealing relationship statuses on the same day is what good friends do? ^^ Who knows, but one things for sure- we wish these two couples all the best for the future!

CNBlue's Important Announcement? Oct 2013

Good Evening, Yeorobun~! ^^

Hi guys, I know that this is might be a shorter post than usual, but I really needed to get this off my chest ㅇㅅㅇ

You may or may not know about this, but a few days ago, FNC Japan revealed that our beloved CNBlue is going to have an important announcement on the first day of the Arena Tour in Saitama, Japan. 

Hearing this has gotten fans (like me and you) curious about the whole thing, and most importantly...

Is it good news... or bad news? 

Something we should anticipate or be worried for?

Well, at this point, nobody knows for sure apart from FNC and the BLUE boys themselves Y . Y So, lets have a discussion on our thoughts! It's better than sitting around staying curious. ^^

Possible GOOD News~~

• Korean Comeback?? - Our boys have been busying themselves lately with promotions in Japan as well as their World Tour. If they're really planning to push themselves that bit extra, maybe it's not entirely impossible for another Korean Comeback? Or maybe even a set date for it around December-January time? ^^ Another album? Yes please~~! ^w^ (But of course, their health and well-being has to come first!)
• Additional Tour Dates? - As far as I know, CNBlue has yet made promises to visit America and Europe. Could this announcement be official tour dates to visit us international fans sometime soon? ^^
• Movie Promotion? - With their new documentary film due to release in theaters throughout Japan on the 17th of January, it's quite possible that this 'announcement' could be something to do with its promotions (which would make sense since they're announcing it in Japan too.)
• More Band Promotions and/or Charity Work? - Maybe they've organised dates and locations for future fan meetings and autograph signings? Or maybe our boys have started to set up another CNBlue school in Africa? ^^
• Personal Relationship Updates...? YwY - Something probably all the shippers out there have been waiting for (I know that we, Dooleys, sure have!). This is probably the less likely one out of the other four possibilities, but since FNC has made is sound pretty big, and despite whatever no-dating rules they may have, it isn't entirely impossible, is it? Wouldn't it be great if it was...? Y//w//Y

Unfortunately, there's also a chance that the announcement can also be bad news... >< (I hope not!)

Possible BAD News...

• World Tour Coming to an End - If things really go wrong, it could be that FNC hasn't been able to secure dates with Europe and/or America so they've decided to set an ending date for the World Tour instead. Lets hope this is not the case!
• Army Sign Up - Probably one of the worst news fan girls of boy groups can get. 21 months with your favourite idols absent from the K-Industry is like 21 months of Winter with no sun for most of us Y-Y. As far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong), our boys have not yet served in the military, and according to one of their past TV interviews from last year, their enlistment wishes are: "all four of us together". Touching- yes. But it's going to be a long and hard 21 months for us Boice Q _ Q Lets hope it's not so soon! ><
• The-Possibility-Is-So-Dreadful-To-Think-Of-That-I-Can't-Bring-Myself-To-Type-It - But I'm gonna have to so you know what I'm talking about, right? I think you're getting the general vibes though~ So yeah. I purposefully saved this one last because it is no doubt the worst thing that the heavens plan to throw our way. They have no reason to (especially because they're doing so well right now with promotions world-wide and stuff), but what if - one in a million chance - our boys decide to follow the route of JLS...? >< Or maybe even (like during the band's early stages), one member is going to drop out...? Q___Q (I don't even know how I would feel about this but: there's also the possibility of the addition of a new member. . .)

Anyhow!! All the above were just products of a 10 minutes brainstorm from a paranoid (and overly curious) fan. Nothing, and I repeat: nothing is certain right now, so rest assured! ^^ As you can see above, I was able to come up with more potentially good news over bad, and I'm sure the chances would be the same in real life (plus, some of the bad possibilities are very, very unlikely).

So, time to round up! (Before I tootle off to bed.) Oh no... I think I'm gonna end up being too paranoid to sleep... O____o CNBlue announcement taking place on the first day of the Arena Tour in Saitama, Japan. If you hear anything, be sure to let the rest of us know! ^^

10 Symptoms of a Korean Drama Addict

Ever wondered if you have fallen a little too deep into the black hole of the Korean entertainment industry? Maybe you're worried that Korean dramas have started to take over your world? Well here's a list of my top 10 signs to look out for! How many do you match up to? ^^

1. Lack of Sleep

Probably one of the biggest and most common signs would be: lack of sleep. 

Have you ever spent your nights staying up late watching marathons (or even that "just-one-more!" episode)? Or maybe you're one of those people who like to watch your drama first and end up staying up late writing that paper you was supposed to write when you got home? (Guilty...><)

Most of us get so caught up in the "Ooh...!" and the "Ahh..." moments that we actually -absentmindedly- make watching the characters on screen find their soul-mates (and sometimes the people who they're hunting down) our top priority, rather than actually living our own lives. 

Well at least I know where my dark circles are from... <///<"

2. Socially Clairvoyant Powers

So you're standing here, three meters away, and there is a girl and two guys arguing about something, and it's pretty heated. Then another girl comes in and well... things get pretty messy. 

Somehow, probably without noticing it, you've been casually eavesdropping and in your head you've conjured up this whole relationship web along with events that may or may not have happened. 

Don't worry, if you've developed this habit (like me) this is still... healthy. Just remember not to stare (too much) and umm... don't go barging into their conversations screaming anything along the lines of: "He belongs to her!!!"

3. You Talk Too Much (About K-Drama)

Whether it's around people with the same interest as you or even your normal everyday friends, you've pretty much made it clear to the people around you that you are a drama ajumma! ^^

When you take off, there seems to be no stopping you! Even if your audience has no idea what you're talking about, you still want to share with the world the reason why you've been in angst all week waiting for the next episode! And when you're off, you end up telling them the whole plot and sub plots and the relationships and how hot the main lead is, etc.

Fan-girl (apparently a verb now lol) to infinity and beyond! xD

4. You're Learning Korean

Are you self-studying Korean? Or maybe you've picked up on little Korean phrases such as "Aishh" or "Omo" with or without knowing it? Either way, you are learning Korean! ^^

You may not be 100% at native level yet, but through K-Drama, you've had the urge to start learning the language your favourite characters speak in! 

Have you tried writing in Hangul? ^^

5. You're Picking up on Korean Culture

Are you finding yourself developing the habit of bowing more often when you greet or thank people?

Or maybe you've starting to or think you should say "jal meokkesseumnida" before your meal?

Or maybe Seaweed Soup seems more appealing on your birthday?

You have probably started to pick up on Korean Culture! ^^ 

Not surprising if you're watching it 24 hours a day! 

6. You want to Go to Korea / a Seoul-Mate!

Seoul? Or maybe Jeju-do?

You're so obsessed with K-Dramas that you're probably planning a trip there some time soon. Whether it's for a short holiday or you're actually moving to live there, you wanna set your feet on Korean soil and see what it's like for yourself! ^^

If you're a hopeless romantic, maybe you've set your mind on finding the Korean guy of your dreams. But mind you, drama isn't always reality! :P

7. That one Actor/Actress...

When you've watched quite a few dramas, you'll begin to recognise some of the actors and actresses in their other productions. 

But isn't it irritating when you come across a character (and the actor/ actress who plays them) that you recognise, but you can't quite put your thumb on where you saw them?

This kind of stuff would bug me all day! ><

8. You're tempted to Read/Write Fan-Fiction

When you ship your OTPs so hard, what's stopping you from reading and writing fan-fiction? ^^

Stopping at Asianfanfics.com after a long day is a great stress-reliever! Imagining and reading about your favourite couple in all sorts of situations only feeds and satisfies your endless fandom!

Maybe you have some secret scenarios and plots of fanfiction stashed somewhere at the back of your mind? Dig it out! Share it with your fellow shippers and the world! x3

9. You want a 'Korean' Phone

Maybe it's the Samsung Galaxy S4 and its awesome cases with windows?

Or maybe it's the ubber cute flip-up Samsung Nori? x3

From watching K-Drama, you've gotten to know a few of the recurring phone models trending in Korea right now, and you feel a pang of jealousy whenever you see your favourite model come up, and the character's sending cute messages to her 'oppa'.

10. You've gotten used to Subtitles

After watching loads of Korean Drama and switching to normal TV, it's gonna start feeling pretty uncomfortable without subtitles even if you understand every word they are saying!

Have you ever felt this way too?

It's like we've gotten so used to speed-reading whatever is at the bottom of the screen, so much that we look for it unconsciously even when we're watching other shows!

So how did you do? Did any of those apply to you? ^^

To be honest, if you searched up on the internet for this blog post, that in itself is a sign ^^ Oh and also, if you happened to be able to name which dramas the pictures included in this post was from, then bravo! You've watched quite a few dramas already! ^^

If you feel that you are getting too addicted to K-Dramas, don't fret! It would be great if you want to lessen your addiction, and although it might be quite tough to start with, I'm sure you'll be able to do it! :D

For me, I used to watch about 5 hours a day (no kidding), but now I have proudly shrunk to 1 hour- and sometimes less! ^^ The way I did this was: 

• I followed dramas that were currently airing. (This way you'll have no choice but to wait 'til next week for the next eps! No eps = less time you spend watching drama.)
• Planned a set time of the day just for watching K-Drama. (For me, this is when I eat my dinner which is 1 hour and fits just right ^^)

I hope these tips might help!

Whether you read this post for fun, or you're actually worried about it, just remember that Korean Dramas are healthier in smaller doses! =w=

My New Wattpad Story! ^^

안녕 ~! ^^

Hey guys! It's been a while! Just popped in to let you know that no I am not dead (quite healthy actually ^^) and I don't plan to be anytime soon- at least not online. XD

So yeah, the fellow students amongst us would probably be back to school again (like me), and with that comes exams and assignments too (oh fudge... ><), therefore I apologize in advance if my presence disappears from time to time! Like it has been for a while... ><

Anyway, (back to what I originally planned to say in this short post, and before I scoot off to do my English homework...) I wanted you guys to be the first to know about my new Wattpad story! :D

I've been planning to write this a few months back and I've finally been able to get Chapter 1 and 2 on paper. Being the drama-addict that I am, my novel has the theme of a Romantic Melodrama K-Drama, I hope you guys will like it! ^^

Here is the cover for it at the moment (and probably will stay the same unless I plan to change the name). It is called In Seoul with You !

The Synopsis

With her past long buried, Park Choon Hee is just another average girl who takes everything life throws at her with a smile. Well at least she tries to be! Finally returning home to South Korea, Choon Hee does her best to adapt to the life she missed out on. Balancing six years of school work to catch up with on one hand, and her new part-time job at her grandmother's noodle house in the other, she never planned on making time for the boy who barged into her heart- uninvited. 

How does it sound? :D I tried to make the synopsis sound as K-Drama-ry as possible XD I wanted to reveal so much more, but decided against it last minute. So... intrigued? ^^ I hope so! I will need as much support from you guys as I can! :3

First Look at New KDrama 'Who are You'

Sorry for the recent neglect! My Summer holidays started last week and I just had this sudden streak of procrastination wash over me, but now I'm back and all ready to roll! ^^ I'm glad to see that you guys are still checking in to read my posts! I'm really grateful! :')

From the title of this post, I'm guessing you all know what's coming right? ^^ Yep! The KDrama many of us have been anticipating had premiered last week with episodes 1 and 2!

So... what made you attracted to the new drama 'Who are You'? (Well you wouldn't be reading this review right now if you weren't, right? ;P)

For me, I first found out about this new drama from seeing its poster when I was surfing the net (probably searching for taecgui related news >w<). I must say! This poster was really attention-drawing! (Even though Taec looks a little awkward hehe) 

From the poster, you would naturally assume that the people featured on it would be the leading characters. I happened to know both of them from what little places I've seen of the K-entertainment industry, So E-Hyun from Heartstrings (also recently cameo-ed in I Hear Your Voice) and Taecyeon, who's variety show We Got Married Global Edition recently finished broadcasting. To be honest, when I first saw them on the poster as (what seemed like) the leading couple, I felt awkward. I would never have seen them, or even thought of them as a couple if it wasn't for this drama. This pairing was surprising but intriguing and only left me wondering how it would work out. I'm usually not a big fan of couples where the girl is older than the guy, I don't know what happened to me lately... <<"

Anyway, overall, I think the poster did a good job in promoting the new drama, a tad of tension, mystery and spookiness always mixes well together. ^^

When I first read the title, I must admit it wasn't the most appealing, in fact I had actually forgotten the name itself after my first encounter. But I remember when I read the Korean version of it for the first time whilst the video was buffering on Viki, and it actually made me laugh. In Korean it translates to "Hu Ah Yu" (Who are you). I thought it was amusingly creative, writing English words in hangul, but I guess it's not all that rare. It did brighten my day though ^^

Now onto the actual episodes... :D

Spoiler Alert! Even though I'll try to suppress them, turn back now if you feel that you'll regret it later! :9

My Thoughts on Episode 1 + 2

Okay, the opening? Wow. Way to start a drama with a thrilling action-packed opening even though the audience probably had no idea what the heck is going on, haha. But we love that really! ^^

From the hints they dropped for us, I somehow worked out that...   Actually, scratch that, I just realised that I'm not too sure O_o 

But I guess that's the beauty of it! They'll probably close the first mystery they present to us right at the very end (like most dramas do) whilst dropping hints for us along the way. I'm kinda thick when it comes to the simplest things so I'll probably be one of those viewers who'll scroll through the comments half way through the episode just to find out what's going on. 

So, yeah, she wakes up from her coma after being knocked out by her former lover (who was supposed to be dead) with a metal rod... (she did get knocked out by him right? Or was she -or me- having delusions?) Not too sure... Y.Y After sleeping for six years (all her youth... Q-Q) she wakes up again with the ability to see ghosts. I have to say, that first scene in the psychiatrist's room scared the stuffing out of me! O_o I honestly believed that the annoying guy with a pen was just an annoying guy with a pen! Until he fell out of a freaking window on his own free will!! ><

There's been quite a few jumpy scenes in the first two episodes, especially in the encounters with the first ghost Oh Reum, a mute high school student who's murder case was wrongly labeled as suicide (I totally freaked out over her because she played Lee Shin's little sister in Heartstrings!!). 

Even though some say that the first two episodes appear to be too predictable, I think it was very well written! The first case was interesting and dealt with delicate (and for some- disturbing) issues such as pedophilia. 

The actors also did a great job in expressing their characters, even down to the minor characters such as Oh Reum's mother! Everyone did a great job and it was interesting to see familiar actors play roles different to their previous productions.

All in all, I was really impressed with the start of this drama and I feel that this one's a keeper! ^^ I know it'll definitely help ease my 'I Hear Your Voice' withdrawal symptoms later today! The two dramas are similar in feel and suspense even with that extra tough of super-naturalism! 

If you enjoyed 'I Hear Your Voice', I strongly recommend that you check this drama out, it's definitely worth a shot! You won't be disappointed. :)
